Dans ce court métrage, La Nouvelle imagerie pose un regard singulier sur l’expérience collective vécue dans l’ancien hopital Saint-Vincent-de-Paul. Elliot Viennot, jeune réalisateur du collectif, a pensé l’écriture de ce film comme un de poème visuel, nous plongeant d’emblée dans le regard de ceux qui font au quotidien les Grands voisins. Jouant avec la spacialité du lieu, il nous fait prendre de la hauteur, traverser les murs et nous renvoie en permanence aux travailleurs du site. De la recherche d’une lumière bienveillante aux plans audacieux, cette production originale met l’accent sur l’émotion de toutes celles et ceux qui se retroussent les manches pour construire un nouveau monde.
La Nouvelle imagerie a intégré le projet des Grands Voisins depuis trois mois. Ce collectif de faiseurs d’images oeuvre pour la production d’images originales, artisanales, expérimentales dans des domaines variés : vidéos, production filmique, photographies, images animées etc. Il est composé de : Françoise Maine, Elliot Viennot, Mathurin M, Valentin Klar, Thomas Massia. Les équipes sont à géométrie variable et sont constituées au gré des projets.
