L’AMPHITHÉÂTRE
Longtemps dédié des cours d’anatomie, cet ancien amphithéâtre de la faculté de médecine possède 120 places dans le bâtiment Lelong et a été rénové, chauffé et sonorisé !
Construit en 1959, il a accueilli pendant plusieurs décennies des cours magistraux et séances de dissection. Abandonné depuis 2012, il aura fallu des mois de chantiers participatifs, des semaines de travaux de réhabilitation et la bonne volonté de dizaines de bénévoles pour en faire un espace chaleureux et accueillant.
Des débats et du cinéma
Il est aujourd’hui le lieu privilégié pour réfléchir ensemble, débattre sur des thèmes engagés et porter les voix des Grands Voisins au delà de ses murs. Tous les mercredis, à partir de 18h30, il accueille des débats militants et alternatifs ouverts à tous. Et les dimanches, il se transforme en salle de cinéma avec l’équipe de l’Écran Voisin qui propose des séances pour enfants à 11h00 et une programmation de films d’artistes, expérimentaux ou produits hors des circuits commerciaux, ainsi que des documentaires d’archives avec des séances à 14h30, 16h30 et 18h30.
Le reste de la semaine, cet espace est ouvert à la location. D’autres salles des Grands Voisins sont disponibles ponctuellement ou quelques heures par semaine pour se réunir, travailler ou exposer : la Lingerie pour les rassemblements festifs, la petite salle de réunion Lelong, la salle Colombani et le Magasin général pour les expositions et les conférences, et la Médiathèque, réservée aux activités sportives et de bien être. Ces espaces mutualisés à prix modiques contribuent au financement du projet Les Grands Voisins.
