Les Grands Voisins participe aux Ateliers d’agriculture urbaine de NatureParif

Sur le grand site arboré de l’ancien hôpital Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, les activités d’extérieur, en lien avec la nature, se sont imposées dès les discussions préliminaires entre les différentes partenaires impliqués dans le projet des Grands Voisins. Aujourd’hui, ce sont une douzaine de structures résidentes ou associées qui ont une activité en lien avec d’agriculture et jardinage ou les processus écologiques : serre aquaponique, apiculture, compostage collectif, potagers partagés, graines germées, phytoépuration des eaux grises, préparation des semis, céréales anciennes, aménagements paysagers. A découvrir le 30 juin prochain, à l’occasion des 3e Ateliers d’agriculture urbaine de Paris.

Florimont / Graines de quatorzien : semis de céréales anciennes

Dès l’automne dernier, les chantiers participatifs des paysagistes Atelier Georges ont permis d’aménager la cour ombragée du bâtiment Lelong en théâtre de verdure. Près de la Chaufferie, Philémon de la Paillasse Paris, en lien avec Yes We Camp, a imaginé une serre entièrement dédiée à l’aquaponie, une forme d’aquaculture qui fonctionne en symbiose avec l’élevage des poissons. Le premier module est aujourd’hui en fonctionnement et cristallise d’autres projets comme les expérimentations de ZoneAH sur les nouveaux substrats.

Depuis le printemps, stimulé par les 48h00 de l’agriculture urbaine, c’est tous les Voisins qui ont mis les mains dans la terre : certaines zones sont divisées en lopins potagers, d’autres sont aménagées en buttes de permaculture où l’association Ici Terre organise des séances collectives de Qi gong et jardinage, d’autres encore, reçoivent les graines de céréales anciennes de l’association Florimont avec le projet Graines de quartozien. Deux associations font butiner les abeilles : L’Abeille francilienne, implantée de longue date sur le site, et Miel de quartier, récemment installée.

Le jardinage agit comme un outil d’ouverture et de cohésion au sein cet espace fréquenté par des publics très différents. Depuis le printemps, les Voisins jardiniers se retrouvent chaque mois pour créer des ponts entre leurs activités respectives et pour peu à peu structurer un projet global. C’est aussi un vecteur d’intégration pour une dizaines personnes résidant sur le site, dans les foyers d’intégration/hébergement de l’Association Aurore. Grâce au programme “Dispositif Premières heures”, elles ont pu être embauchés par l’entreprise NaturEspaces ou la Conciergerie Solidaire, et retrouvent ainsi progressivement une activité professionnelle.

Le 30 juin prochain, à l’occasion de la 3e édition des Ateliers d’agriculture urbaine et de la biodiversité de Paris, Les Grands Voisins accueille un atelier participatif pour la création du futur Observatoire de l’environnement urbain et propose deux visites thématiques du site : l’une axée sur une approche biologique du métabolisme urbain, l’autre sur la question de l’insertion professionnelle de résidents de Saint-Vincent-de-Paul par le biais des activités agricoles.
